We have examples for you to help you realize the full potential of the free website and blog we are offering at CRN.

CRN is powered by Wordpress, which is famous as a user friendly and powerful blogging platform, but it can also be used just as effectively for web pages, and an entire web site…both a blog and a website.

Examples of pages can be found in the nagivation section on the left, while the blog posts show up right here on the from page.

In order to begin using your new CRN site, login to it using your user name and password. The login option should be under the menu on the left, but you can also add /wp-login.php in the web address bar. For example, to log into my site I would go to: http://henry1.contractorreferralnetwork.com/wp-login.php

Using Digital Images

You could use images from recent projects, showing potential customers the quality of the work you do, or you could use illustrations and diagrams to help better explain a concept or idea.

In this example, I have inserted a digital image into a blog post.

When working with digital images, a good size to consider is about 300 pixels wide. This is so that people with low screen resolutions will be able to see the whole image, without the layout of the site getting all distorted. You can always upload higher resolution images, and simply link to them rather than trying to display them “as is” in your blog posts or pages.

Table in a post

Here is an example of a table with product prices being used in a post. This type of data may be better suited for a page, rather than a post, but it works the same either way you choose to do it. It’s a good idea to keep all of your information in backup files.
